Hanging out with a guy I have never met, but know of him?

Last thursday night a guy on facebook messaged me. I have heard of him before but never met him face to face. Well I told him to text me. Well friday night he finally texted me. And we have been texting ever since. Our convo's aren't interesting, but I think it's because we don't know each other very well. But last night I went to his baseball game. My friends who went with me were bored, and we had to be in a different city in an hour so I went up to him and told him we had to go. And he said that's fine. And to make up for leaving I texted him and said "you looked good tonight" just to be sweet. And I think things would go good, but we need to hang out. But he always has baseball practice, and apparently he never gets to hang out with his friends cause he's always at baseball. And I can't hang out with tomorrow night, and sunday I have to wake up early cause I'm leaving for a week, so the only night I can hang out with him is friday night. But more than likely he has baseball practice or a game.
